How Wazeefy collects, uses and protects your personal data under Saudi Arabia’s PDPL.

Last updated · June 26, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Wazeefy (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use our website, dashboard, WhatsApp service and related applications (the “Service”). We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (the “PDPL”) and its implementing regulations, overseen by the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).

By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Who is responsible for your data

Wazeefy is the controller responsible for the personal data processed through the Service. If you have any questions or wish to exercise your rights, contact us using the details at the end of this policy.

Personal data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Profile and professional data — your name, contact details, work experience, education, skills, CV and the job preferences you set;
  • Account data — your login credentials and settings;
  • Communications — messages you exchange with the Service over WhatsApp, voice or the dashboard;
  • Application data — the roles we apply to on your behalf and their status;
  • Usage and device data — how you interact with the Service, plus technical data such as IP address, browser and device type;
  • Payment data — for Pro subscriptions, billing details processed by our payment provider.

How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

  • build your profile and match you to roles you are eligible for;
  • prepare and submit job applications and tailored cover letters on your behalf;
  • operate the WhatsApp chat, voice and dashboard experiences;
  • process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • communicate with you about your applications and the Service;
  • secure, maintain and improve the Service;
  • comply with legal obligations, including Saudi labour and Saudization requirements.

Automated matching and applications

Wazeefy uses automated processing, including AI, to match you to roles and to generate and submit applications on your behalf. These systems use the information in your profile and your stated preferences. You stay in control: you can review applications, set the limits within which we act, and pause or disable automated applications at any time. You may contact us to request human review of a decision that significantly affects you.

How we share your data

We share personal data only as needed to operate the Service:

  • Employers and job platforms — when we submit an application on your behalf, the relevant employer or platform receives your application data;
  • Service providers — hosting, messaging, analytics and payment partners who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements;
  • Legal and safety — where required by law, regulation or a valid request from a competent authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we do so only in accordance with the PDPL and its rules on cross-border transfers, and we take appropriate measures to protect your data to the standard required by Saudi law.

How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for any further period required to meet legal, accounting or regulatory obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, including encryption in transit, access controls and ongoing monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any incident.

Your rights under the PDPL

Subject to the PDPL, you have the right to:

  • be informed about how your personal data is processed;
  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request deletion of your data where permitted;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • request a copy of your data in a readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, see our Data Requests page or contact us.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences (such as language) and understand usage. For details and how to manage them, see our Cookie Policy.

Children

The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you through the Service. Please review it periodically.

Complaints

If you have concerns about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first so we can help. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA), the supervisory authority for personal data protection in the Kingdom.
